Dr Tay who has recently been made Time's person of the year graces us with his humble presence after his talk to the world organisations about his recent success in the construction of the 8.0 tonnes Wing gundam zero XXXG-00W0, and his incredible hero antics, saving earth from a potentially damaging meteorite that could have send earth back to the ice age.
Well first off, What were you thinking when you fired the twin buster rifle at the meteor?
I was thinking the whole of Earth's population is in my hands. I can't miss this shot.
The whole world is in you debt now and you're world famous. How do you feel?
I can't bear that responsibility. I just want to do what is right. It would not have been possible without my Engineers working tireless following my faith.
So Dr Tay, what made you want to construct this Powerful asset to the Earth?
It was a long time ago, about 30 years ago when I abandoned the futile dream of becoming's the first Econs laureate after ironically I might add, the first Nobel laureate Fred slapped me a with an econs document that was incomprehensible to me. I decided to use my talents to construct something useful to the nation.
So if he didn't send you the Econs document, you'd have become the first?
(laughs) No he was more brillant than me. He deserved it totally. (jokingly) I'd have become the second.
Well Are there any plans to build other gundams?
Well this one took me 5 years to blueprint and 25 years to construct admist criticisim and discouragment. Another one is possible but i don't think I'll see it in my lifetime.
So, it must have been tough for you during those five years of planning and construction?
yeah People thought I was Crazy, People thought I was Mad. It was inconcievable during those days to construct a robot of that proportion. But I managed to convince enough Gundam Fanatics and my best friend Dr Wilson also the chief engineer of the Wing zero to help me do the blueprint and convince Jia's Construction to start the operation. But I made it and silenced the critics and became the richest man in the world overnight.
Your Gundam has been given rights to land on the lunar off-world colony of the Americans.Can that be confirmed?
Yes it can. I was a bit suprised actually, Nobody thought my gundam can fly to the moon then. So when I was given the rights I accepted it.
Anything you want to say to inspiring youngsters out there?
Dare to dream. Dare to create.
What are your views on the lawsuits that Japanese Gundam Companies that are suing you for copyright name and idea?
All I can say is that I have good lawyer friends who counter-sued their asses off.
Any chance of us seeing a Mrs Tay?
(laughs) The gundam Wing was my dream. I finally did it. She can be called my wife.
You mentioned you knew the missing Nobel laureate Fred and family. Do you also happen to know where they are?
Well, I'm not suppose to tell you this but let's just say he's happily ranching with his animals and living the life he wished he'd be living.
