Oh ya. Wanted to talk about the racist PCS scholar. Oh people give him a break. He's human too.I'm so sick of those self-righteous people expounding their moral values on people that they think they know.
Oh ya let's not forget he made the comment IN PRIVATE..whatever happen to privacy issues?
Tells you a fact that nothing online is ever safe. If you want to scold someone do it in a journal
So much for freedom of speech too. Like there was any to begin with.
And so, we know for a fact that, *Gasps Shock horror * "Scholars are no saints, they're human who can err too." *rolls eyes.
The difference between the old media(newspapers Tv news ) vs the new media (blogs) is that no one can control the spread of news and what people want to say. It's actually scary. A racist comment made on the web can actually spread all over the blogosphere thru blog-of-mouth.
Kinda reminds me how the Lecture proposal thingy started. By nightime that day, my friend from Science told me about it. Gossips are really dangerous things and they spread like wild fire
because they are juicy and human beings tend to have a curious nature.
Seriously, I've lost the ability to absorb news from traditional media. Most of what I know and hear come from people's blogs just because they provide an opinion. And its interesting to know what opinions they have cos I do not possess one of my own. Most importantly, paper media is slow in reaction to the news that happen across the globe.
I'm only writing this because I've lost my momentum to study and will get back to it once the pendulum picks up its momentum again.
