Okay, so I've taken the load off my chest but my chest does not feel any lighter. Is it any wonder that the feeling of guilt still lingers on? It's virtually impossible to not deal with it upfront. Hopefully,*** will forget and not hold it against me. *cross fingers

5 days, that's the amount of time it takes for me to get over Camp fever. One month more and the new batch of students will coming in. There's going to be so much to do, like syncronising timetables for lunch and stuff, not to mention preparations for o week.

The freshmen remind me of when I was a freshie. All green and ignorant about faculty requirements, the screwed up bidding system and the NUS culture. They know next to nothing which kinda makes me feel important to be able to tell them about the school. It amuses me how kan cheong they can get.

Omg, Have U seen Olinda Cho(One of Singapore idol finalist) in today's Sunday times. She's skinny! She shed her weight under Royal body perfect slimming salon. These days it just pays to be a plump celebrity. You get to look like a million bucks and recieve endorsement incentives from the slimming company.

I was reading this article about how photos are not materialized anymore. Everyone is using digicameras that none of these pixels images ever get materialize. No more photos in albums where pages can be turned like the books of our lives. All the photos taken now are stored on hardrives or online Photo albums. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have a few precious tangible photos to hold than a thousand fleeting images of anything and everything about the event online.
Speaking of which, I have yet to seen the photos that are taken of the camp. I wonder how long these "busy" people take to upload them.

Toto is 2.8million again. Toto provides the few chances for average heartlander to become a millionaire. Even if it's one out of a million chance, people try their luck Why? Cos it's a lot of money.

One of my freshies reminds me of Zx, a platoon mate. Over Enthu, overzealous , anxious but too "weird".Ahhhhhh THat's weird.

The kick butt cheer keeps floating around in my head. Mainly because it reminds me of Steph and Xilin doing the cheer. They sound incredibly great doing it! And they're from AJC!!Sighzzz..

Initial D!!! Initial D people!! Movie rocks!! Except there was a three way car battle which was totally weird.. It was everything I expect it to be. Jay Chou rocks!! Yeah yeah.. Jia kept telling me that most of the people who watch the shows are Fans of Jay. And that most of his friends who watch it are Initial D fans. Like fans of Jay who watch the show are ignorant idiots who shouldn't watch it just because it's JAY! In my opinion, he didn't do anything incredibly great in the movie, he's just being Takumi, acting was so so.. Haha.. Whatever the case, it's a great adaptation of the manga. Whoever that says this movie sucks should be rammed by an 86! haha Great car action..and a funny moronic idiot who thinks he can drive and drift. haha Did I mention Jay chou Rocks? He rocks!!

My group freshies are quite pro-active, maybe because they hold commander/officers roles in the army. The girls are quite alright too. Don't know what else to say. It's been a great four days, made a lot of new friends, had a lot of fun. But I feel that most of the time the councillors are having fun by themselves. They're very impressionable, especially to Mark's singing.

At first I couldn't understand why Wx was so AA, doing that Jimmy chu impression. He was trying to make himself known so people would know him and sign up as councillors in O week as he is the chief councillor. Anyway, he's being his funny usual self. I wonder why he like entertaining the crowd so much. Maybe that's his calling.

Jia was being 'suicidal' during the night activities and went into the sea to soak water. The guys at the trust fall thought it was some guy trying to kill himself. Upon closer inspection, it was jia. Then I shouted for him not to die. Well, he's being "xin fan" at that time, but he don't want to tell me why he xin fan.

The music was quite awful. It brings you up then drops you down. The DJ should be shot. I tried dragging Mh to dance but she just stood there and watched us dance, giggled a bit then went back to sit. After a while, I stopped trying to pull freshies to the dance floor. Most of the freshies don't club and just sat there and talked which is a nice thing. I always thought Steph was the quiet type of girl but she turned out to be one hell of a crazy chick. She looked absolutely stunning during the bash. I thought it must be the atmosphere. Later I found out she was Ms Engin 04.

That's our calling card. Which caught on during the war games. Cos Jl was trying to think of a house cheer But it turned into some sort of morale booster. Jl is a girl who likes to experience new stuff. Rather than the "normal cheers" which were repeated over and over till it was ringing in our heads all the time, some times its good to try new cheers.

My hse councillors are quite close , maybe because more half of them knew each other before this camp and was in the same OG last camp. Had a lot of funz with these crazy bunch of people. Justin became the "house mascot" when By and gang started to form the Anti Justin Club(AJC) and ironically using the AJC kickbutt cheer.. hahaha..

It's heartbreaking to hear they may not be enough freshman for the camp. The reason being that the co-admission by the 3 universities and the freshman have yet to recieve confirmation that they are in the school. So if you're not in the school, you wouldn't want to join any camps right? The camp committee has put in a lot of effort and I really wish this would turn out fine.Anyway, it's not really my problem. I heard that there are more Girls than guys this year in engine, which is unbelievable. Anyway, dreams do not always come true so I still think the camp ratio will be skewed towards more guys.

I dread not being grouped with the o week comm ppl, while that guy who sees the world as a cinema is. From what sehdf told me, they seemed to have a lot of fun and bonded quite well. I'm intrigued at what "drink" identifier they're going to make. He makes it seem like it's so freaking cool and bragged that it you can bring to the bash. Anyway, I had lots of fun making our identifiers too. N-gage and X-box!Neogeo didnt do any cos they lack the pre-knowledge to create one. They decided to go back home to research the Neo geo identifier they're going to do cos Neo geo does not have a regconizable shape. But the most important thing IMOH, is low cost, cos what we poor impoverish students lack most is vitamin M.

In other news, I got my Cadbury at the new Ntuc shopping centre. I have no idea why there is always a long queue there. I think maybe because the NTUC is cheaper than Giants and it offer much more variety of goods , that's why the NTUC is still infested with people at 9.30 even though it closes at 10. Either that or the cashiers are damn slow.Cadbury rocks!

Food... Went to makan with Delta at this thai resturant called Yhingthai palace along Purvis Street, some distance away from City hall MRT. Food there was great. Filling, great for thai food lovers. Lq had this digicam and became insistant on taking photos. We were like.. Dun want la... dun want la.. but he had called the waiteress so we had to pose for the camera. :X Then later at starbucks, we took another photo, we posed because he had asked this guy to help us take.
Xiong had bought this sports car and was on the way to yishun, so drove me and lq & fren home.

It was after midnight and it was Wil's egg-break-day. No wonder he was so insistant on going for a late night supper. So we(me and Np ppl) went to Chomp Chomp to chomp,as it was not very far from our houses and wil was driving. Had satay and stingray + dao huay in egg+sugar cane drink.. It was great dao huay. Sighz I'm getting fat.
Robin must have been driving manual car all the time.. dunnoe how to auto..

Bleahz.. food dun have taste anymore. I can't seem to attribute any reason for this lost of appettite. Maybe I'm falling sick or my taste buds are slowing dying off.

Wanted to watch Hitchhiker but Somebody didn't want to watch it, so have to watch this lame ass show. It was not all that great, I also didn't expect much from this movie anyway. Action sequences are great but messy, jokes are lame, Angelina Jolie is hott, Brad pitt is looking gorgeous as well. I really have to stop watching $9.50 shows. It's too expensive. Bittorrent is still the best.

Ouch, right now, I feel like somebody just ripped the wings from my back and the area where my 'wings' were supposed to be attached to my body.It hurts like hell. I think I'll have to sleep face down today. It's all because of the sunburn I got.

So the three days of dry run is over. And we have a second dry run!? okay. That's fine with me as long as I don't have to play the games again. hee hee..It's not that it's not fun, it's just that it's..erm.. dirty. Now I finally understand why xilin and some of the comm members(sf,jl...) feel like they took estascy every half an hour, she has to be 150% so it will hopefully be infectious enough for us to be maybe 100% which will in turn affect the freshies.But in a guy dominated council it's a bit hard. Guys always look depressing most of the time. Ekiat impersonation of xilin is damn like her lor.. hahaha.. It's been fun, I shudder to think what the o week has in store for us to do..We still have dryruns to do lor.But doi seems to be taking it easy. Ya where's the comm T-shirt.. doi is right.. we may probably get it after the week, since leo is like so slow.

Some of the games I feel no meaning/not fun.. Like the nightblindness arranging height in order one. Maybe they can like change it to each one take one letter(the letter is maybe like cut out to be a the shape so ppl can feel the shape) then form a prearranged word with it. Other than that I think the rest is fine..

Ouch I got sunburn.. It's not a comfortable feeling. Hurts like hell..

Dry run, wet run Went to Camp's dry run today, It was great. The managment style is largely different from the o week. I think it's because it's run by a group of largely competent and pro-active people. Got to meet most of the committee members and OG councillers. I think there may be a lack of councillers to facilitate the people. I don't know, we shall see.

It's great to gossip to friends. You get to talk about which girl rocks(x,j...) and which guy sucks. (By,Js..jia) x is sooo hott I think any guy who meets her will have fantasies about her. She has the 'sey' Ok enough blabbing cos you never know who might pop by and read this..esp jia..

I still have a freaking headache. I think it's not ICT water induced.Panadol don't seem to work any more. I'm cutting them off so as not to be too drug dependent. I hope I get better. If I die, take care of my cat, fluffy..even though she's naughty and always scratches me..

Yesterday, despite the shoulder aches and the stomach cramps, we still manage to drag ourselves all the way to shopper's paradise to sing. I was quite reluctant after having acquainted with my comfy bed and soft pillow. I went anyway since it's been five days, I'd done anything productive or fun.

It's true that ICT can really bring people out of their busy schedules and meet up with old friends. That's the only good thing, the rest just sucked. Contra to popular belief Reservist is not slack at all. It's all the NSF days minus the discipline, just drawing and returning the stores are a pain in the ass. On the other hand, the mentality is different, commanders are slacker now.

Sometimes I feel maybe I'm not cut out to be in this world, where every dog eats every single one.I hate dissappointment, It's one of the worst emotions one can feel. It's an uncomfortable feeling that I can't discard and it's pressing on real hard. I'd always envy those people that can take it and say that they'll do better next time. Even though that's the best thing you can hope for but I'm not one that endorses that doctrine. I don't understand where they get that motivation from, you try and you fail , you try and you fail. Maybe you're just not up to par.
