Must love dogs. Must hate it. I used to like romantic movies but recently I've given up on them , Esp after this movie which happens to star the same guy (John Cusack )as the last one I truly liked was serendipity. Love actually was good too. Bewitched was not that good, although it's focus tends to me more on magic than anything else. I think the reason why people like romantic movies so much is because they can relate to them. Lonely hearts in search of the one true love that beats in sync with them. Hope, that there is someone out there suitable for you.

The movie is just a repetition of most of the romantic types shows that talks about bad dates, bad relationships. It's storyline is largely predictible and uncreative. Dogs don't play a huge part in the movie either. The movie just lacks focus and a clear and concise direction. Although there are some witty banter, but it doesn't add up to much. It's just downright unjust for such great actors (Cusack and Diane) to add such a bad movie to their biography.
