"So here is something that happened yesterday that was really cool. At first it wasn’t cool, but then it became very cool. See, my computer monitor broke, my new monitor, the beautiful 32 inch Apple cinema screen. I guess I just got really unlucky. So, kind of for a joke I got a hold of Steve Jobs email, and popped off a letter explaining the situation. I explained how I was working towards a deadline, and that I love Apple computers, and was wondering if he could help me out. I was kind of writing the email for a bit of a giggle, thinking he would probably never even read it. I mean Steve Jobs must get a million emails a day!
He responded.
Literally the next morning I recieved a call at home from Steve Jobs office. They were calling to tell me that there was a new monitor at the Apple store waiting for me. I am back up and running on my beautiful Apple monitor less than 12 hours later. Thankyou Steve Jobs, not only for helping me out in my time of “crisis”, but also for creating such an awesome computer.
(And there you go Gang, now you know I am officially an Apple guy!)
