Nong nong way to go.. I read with awe and shock that a tiny singaporean girl could cause such furore and anger amongst Chinese people just beacause she's unhappy about her stay in China for SEP. It is inconceivable that people could make splashes and splashes of waves over the net without reprecussions, especially on the internet where material is avaliable to all.

Came across this article which describes how SMU is not as it claims to be. It is so biased that anyone reading it will have their wrath incurred even though they're not from SMU. It's quite politically incorrect as Dot puts it. Is SMU really that bad?The author dispels the fact that SMU is just pretty doll on the outside with all the facilities but really nothing much is learnt there. But I'll have to agree that SMU is an overhyped campus with excellent marketing strategies. I'd have taken an SEP there if there were courses avaliable for me there. Unfortunately I don't think they don't even have that word Engineering anywhere on campus.

The only SMU guy I know is an Elitist with a GPA of over 4. (In case you didn't know 4 is the max. But if you get A+ you get slighty more points), worries about getting a A that'll pull down his GPA. SMU is far too competitive for me. I'd rather stay in the "conventional education hub which supposedly mass-produces generic graduates from the NUS oven." the author so aptly puts it.

PRISON BREAK!! It's the best show in the world !! utterly captivating and riveting! I didn't realise it was over, Season one that is.Till yesterday when I couldn't find the next episode of Prison break! Sigh. Will have to wait until Fall of 2006 to catch season 2! That's so long! I can't wait.

Singapore Idol Rocks! It never fails to amaze me how many people who think they can dance and sing get onto that show. Still these are the people who make the show interesting to watch. The auditions were quite a disaster for some of them. I wonder if they actually sang for someone else to get approval before going to sing. They should. Cos their friends might say no, and not embarass them. IMHO it's better to get embarassed in front of ur friends than on national TV. Yeah, they show "careless whisper guy" in the trailers but they never show it in the auditions. I wanna see him sing!

The judges.
They're atrocious. They behave unprofessionally and say bad mouth the contestant when they leave and laugh and make funny remarks (though some were quite weird.) If I had my way, I'd just replace them all! With whom ? I haven figured that out yet. Anyone is better than them.

Join the kitty club Been playing this wc mod called Kitty run. It's basically a game where you're the kitty and you have to run and avoid the dogs. When the dogs touches you, you die. Lift that stops at every floor is working. Now I can get from my flat to ground floor in like 10seconds flat, Provided that there is noone else taking the lift. No more going all the way to the 10th floor to take the common lift. How convenient. Makes one wonder what they're going to use to bait voters once all the lifts are upgraded.

The Da vinci code was good. Throughly Enjoyed it though I enjoyed the book more. My ass hurts from all that sitting, yes it was a long movie, like 2hr and 20 minutes long. If they had added in the details they missed out, the movie would be like a full 3hr one. And I think the added lines Tom hanks said to make for funny effect doesn't really work out, it just makes it seem more Hollywood.

Bj and Tyler won the Amazing race! Amazing. They're like the luckiest people that has ever walked this earth, coming in last for 2 non-elimination rounds and getting the fast forward and winning the million dollars. These 2 hippies happy-go-lucky attitude sure gave them a lot of lucky.

I love this movie.. Double cross, triple cross and the holy cross. ~ cos one of the scenes takes place in the Vatican city, the place where the Pope lives. Elections.. Ahh I'm sick of hearing of elections cos I don't get to vote. Vote me instead, I'll upgrade your lifts. The Mediacorp is not giving enuff coverage to the oppositions, as they say. But reading today's newspaper, it's getting better now. But the more powerful media, the internet, isn't really made use of. Sites like sgrally.blogspot.com, singaporedemocrat and yawning bread are giving an alternative voice to the media and Mr brown's persistantly non-political podcast cracks me up. Maybe the internet is not being made used of is because majority of the voters, those in their middle ages watch TV and read newspapers instead.

It's not helping the PAP that they keep harping on why Gomez forget to submit the form. It was an honest mistake, everybody makes mistakes.They're making a huge mountain out of a molehill. It's not really sticking with the population. I suspect they just want him out so the whole party contesting can be disqualified.

Lastly, I think the people are giving the government too much credit.
