I can still remember not long ago that I made a crystal ball prediction that would turn out to be wrong that the Germans would win the world cup. This world cup if anything is fustrating. Fustrating as the teams try to play defensively resulting in prolonging matches and depriving one of sleep. The italians played super defensively and their tactic was to be safe than sorry. In my opinion it was anything but spectacular. But it paid off. I had the unfortunate chance to see two of my favourite players sent off by the same refree.I admire their hard headedness as it was something I could never see myself doing.

But crystal balls are not always accurate. If they were they wouldn't still be soothsayer and seers in this world. They would be millionaires buying winning ticket numbers every week.Then c advise me to change to a better team after the German defence broke down. I chose France cos my favouritest player Zidane was in it and the team played with a lot of potential. There was never a doubt in my mind that France would win, seeing how Italy played. So it was very demoralising to see Italy win on what some would call the lottery of world cup. The penalty system is quite an unfair system. 90% of the chance the attacker would score and the goalie could only stand and watch helplessly. So I reckon it has very much to do with luck.

It was not long ago that the world cup started and now that it has ended I feel a tad sad. World cup widows of the world can now have their husbands/bf back in one piece to accompany you to the GSS which I think is still ongoing.
