It would seem that every preparatory act of trying to pack my green moldy army equips into my duffel bag was meaningless since the government decided not to call upon us as the two saturdays coincide with SAF day and SAF family day. Yes, I survived another what seemed like long torturous years of alert amber status after wasting multiple sms-es to lq and ber who lived nearby to share cab to our reporting area.
I'm not so proud to announce I've finished my second book in years! The first being the ever so popular Da vinci code. It wasn't voluntary I'd say. I had death threats stuffed into my face that if I didn't finish the book before I watch the movie, I'd be hung by my toes and beaten like a pinata till my guts spilled out. Well technically I didn't read the book myself, I had Racheal leigh cook(yes that cute tomboyish girl turned drop dead gorgeous babe on She's all that acting opposite Freddie Prince jr) dictate the lines to me on 1.4 speed while I lie comfortably looking at the lines. Ahh I'm beinging to love audiobooks. I swear God made them for lazy people like me. It was ok, I was not particularly fond of that genre, chick Lit. But the book was mightly amusing and entertaining.And yes, I could definitely see how vetern actress Meryl Streep could be Miranda Priestly the overbearing way too demanding editor of runway who is said to be based on Vogue's Editor, Anna Wintour.
Many would see as what Zidane did as foolish, dumb, undiginified exit of the world's stage, I seem to think otherwise. If you walk onto the streets and encounter a single person who didn't know who Zidane was, I'd take out my wallet and splash my money on a Brand new red Porsche for you.(not that I have the cash anyway) He's everywhere, like on every page of the newspapers, you can find his name screaming to you. Nobody's gonna care if you headbutt your way into fame. The whole world knows you now! Well at least for now. Endorsements might come your way, like Zidane helmet! Protect urself at the construction site now! or whatever that suits. LOL
