This evening as I was taking the lift up, waiting for the lift, this girl , whom I've hardly know from my pri 3 class yet lives in my block comes too. We glanced at each other for a while and said nothing. Then the lift opens, this guy also from my class comes out.. for a moment we froze. There was an awkward momentary silence as we three refused to acknowlege each other's presence not knowing how we'd all react having not talked since pri school. Then he hurried away leaving me and the girl in the lift with unbearable silence only to see her glance back at me for another look after she left.

Have we all gone grown and become so distant that we forgot who were the ones with us during our Primary school days? Ironically, I'll be having a pri 6 gathering soon. Why didn't the smaller of us clicked?
